I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Birmingham, UK. My recent research focuses on introspective methods, the history of experimental psychology, introspection and metacognition, psychological kinds, and knowledge of abilities. Currently, I am working on a project about agential self-regulation. I am investigating the role that introspective capacities play in constituting this aspect of our agency, and how to understand these in relation to scientific work on our metacognitive capacities.
