I’m an associate professor in philosophy at the London School of Economics. My recent work has focused on questions about AI and the future of work, thanks to a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship grant. At the Human Abilities Center, I will be pursuing a number of related questions about worker abilities in the AI-driven workplace, such as whether abilities can emerge from human-AI collaboration, whether AI undermines workers’ knowledge of their abilities, and whether there are some types of abilities that are core to human flourishing through work.
