Early modern philosophy

I wrote my PhD thesis on Berkeley's philosophy, offering a voluntarist reading of his theology, philosophy of nature and his remarks on divine archetypes. One related issue I have been looking into, and want to explore more, is why and how early modern idealism emerged. Before completing my PhD at Central European University (then Budapest), I did both my BA and MA at Eotvos Lorand University in Budapest, Hungary. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During my stay at the Human Abilities Centre, I am investigating the early modern views on imagination. I am particularly interested in the intentionality of imagination, and the various proposals the early moderns entertained concerning the nature of imagination and its relation to our other cognitive faculties.
