Leo Hunke

Student Assistant, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
I am a bachelor’s student in Philosophy and Social Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin. My primary interests lie in the philosophy of science, metaphysics, and epistemology. In particular, I focus on the metaphysics of science and modality, engaging with questions concerning laws of nature, dispositions, as well as metaphysical and nomic modality. In addition, I explore topics in epistemology, such as scientific explanation and reasoning, the concept of knowledge, and debates surrounding scientific realism. My further interests include the role of epistemic and non-epistemic values in scientific practice and progress, the relationship between science and democracy, and theories of reference in the philosophy of language.
